Trading cards portfolio

For some of us who collect or still collect trading cards, it is common to wonder how much our cards are worth. To answer this question, we often look at pricing data from websites such as eBay. However, there are many different platforms to observe prices, and each platform has its own advantages and disadvantages.

In this project, I focused on cardmarket, a highly specialized popular offer-sided platform that acts as an e-marketplace for trading cards of all sorts.

Departure boards have been existing for decades: almost every transport network in Germany offers one. These often contain real-time information about delays like fahrplan.guru, but departures do not update automatically the way they do on stop displays (besides advertisement). Google Maps doesn’t offer real-time information about departures in the city of Chemnitz. Often this information is not even accurate.

That’s when I came up with efand: a simple, lightweight departure board that has real time delay support and easy but beautiful user interface.

Intelligent Coach

Intelligent Coach is a software aimed at students of our university to help them with their presentations in the proseminar and the defense of their thesis. The core feature of Intelligent Coach is analyzing presentation slides and giving students recommendation about their created slides. These suggestions include recommendations on text size, fonts and text quantity. Integrated help functions and tutorials should help to navigate within the application.

So in summary, the Intelligent Coach is designed to support students in their presentation skills so that lessons are learned from the negative experiences of the teaching staff.
